Eye Glasses and Contact Lenses

Since we are a primary eyecare facility the products we use are anything which will make our patients vision clearer, more comfortable, more protected, enhanced and enjoyable.

At Eyecare Optiques, some of the products we may use are:

EYEGLASSES - We stay up to date and offer a large selection of the latest innovations in frame designs, and fashion.  We use manufacturers of high end designer frames from John Deere to Fendi.  We utilize the best of Progressive Additional Lenses (no-line bifocals), Transition lenses (those that become darker outdoors, and lighter indoors), break resistant safety lenses, tinted lenses, those with anti-reflection coatings, etc.  We want you to not only see well, but to look good as well.

CONTACT LENSES - We love the challenge of fitting not only easy patients, but especially the difficult to fit patients.  We love the new technology in contact lenses to include soft, rigid gas permeable, extended wear, bifocals, toric lenses (for high astigmatism) and others.  We have had great success with corneal refractive therapy, which means wearing a gas permeable lens while you sleep, which is designed to reshape the cornea, so a nearsighted patient need not wear glasses or contact lenses during the day.

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS - are often needed for red eyes, pink eyes, sore eyes, dry eyes, eyes with glaucoma, and eyes that become injured.  Because we are a primary eyecare facility we are your first choice in the event an abnormality of your eye should occur.

VISION ENHANCEMENT THERAPY - Any skill which is required to learn, can be trained to be better, including vision.  It is estimated that one in four youngsters have some type or degree of a vision inefficiency that creates difficulty in learning.  Students and even adults who have not learned how to efficiently focus, fuse, converge, track or perceive, will usually be very frustrated with academic tasks, and frequently be classified as lazy, or not trying hard enough.  The most frequent symptom that people with vision deficiencies have is that they will avoid as much as possible near tasks and describe reading as "boring".

A Vision therapy program can frequently result in significant improvement in academic performance and can also be beneficial in helping athletes hit a fast ball better, or return a serve in tennis more accurately.  Any skill that requires learning to develop, can be trained to be better.
