Cirrus HD-OCT - an update in Technology

We have been very pleased the last five years with the valuable infrormation we were able to glean from our Stratus OCT technology.  Now we have upgraded our diagnostic skills with the absolute state of the art CIRRUS OCT!

Our new Cirrus OCT provides more information, quicker, and more accurate than did our now outdated stratus OCT.  This equipment provides valuable information regarding possible macular degeneration, diabetic retinal changes, glaucoma, retinal and vitreal detachments.  We can now see a ten layer thick image of the retina, a tissue wihich is about as thick as a sheet of cellophane. This will provide valuable information for early diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of conditions that otherwise could cause blindness.

Since we have a goal of helping all of our patient see until they are at least 105, the new Cirrus OCT will help us to do exactly that.
